Fabulous Friday

So... It's Friday! Woo Hoo!! Although I don't know why I'm so excited it's Friday because I do have to work all weekend... hmmm. I guess there is just something about Friday that reminds me that a day off from work will soon come! =)

If it being Friday isn't enough to get you excited, how about a new Wryn image from Tiddly Inks? I thought so! Without further adieu here she is!

Isn't she just fabulous! I added the thank you stamp down at the bottom... but this images is so cool because you can use it for just about any occasion! When I started this card it wasn't my intention to make her so "blue" but it just sort of turned out that way. I found these beautiful roses from Prima and I just had to use them!

I'm still in the learning stage of using my copics. Unfortunately, I don't have too many to choose from. But thanks to the other AMAZING artist on the Tiddly Inks design team, I do believe I am gradually getting better =) So thank you to all of my amazing team mates for your inspiration!!

Have a GREAT weekend y'all!

So sweet

Today I'm sharing a card with you that I made using an older image from Whimsie Doodles. I love this image in itself but I also love how it comes in a bundle of 6 images and all for only $5.00! You can make 6 cards for 6 different occasions using images that cost less than $1.00 a piece! Sweet!!

Materials used: Scrap cardstock and patterned paper, wrinkled ribbon, pearls, buttons, embroidery floss, and paper punches by Martha Stewart crafts. Oh, and my sewing machine =)

I paper pieces this entire image and cut out the pieces to layer on top of foam for added dimension. I also chalked around each piece to add a little more color depth.

I am also entering this card in the folowing challenge:
Pollycraft- ribbon and buttons
CES Challenges- Spots and Dots
Allsorts- anything goes
Totally Paper Crafts- Ribbon/ Bows

Hope everyone has a great week!

Oh, Scrap!

So I'm getting an early start this morning before the kids get into their full crazy mood for the day. I love the first few hours of the morning when they are still a little bit sleepy and will actually sit still for awhile.=)

Today I'm bringing you a card I made for this months Whimsie Doodles Challenge. The theme is "Oh, Scrap!" Your card has to be made using scraps of textured cardstock and patterned paper.  I personally love  this challenge because I have sooo much paper! I'm fairly confident I could wallpaper the entire house with it! It's nice to make use of all the extra tid bits of paper laying around.

Theme: Oh, Scrap!

Materials used: Whimsie Doodles image, copic markers, foam squares, scrap cardstock, scrap paper from My Minds Eye, button, pearls, and wrinkle ribbon from Shari's Paper Trail on etsy.

Thanks so much for looking! Have a great week everyone!

Heartfelt Love

So Christy over at Tiddly Inks has outdone herself once again with a set of new and super adorable Wryn images! And the best news... she has 2 more coming out next week! That's 4 new Wryn images! I have loved using each and every one of them! Today I'm sharing a project I made using one of the new digi's =)

I had so much fun making this card. I thought it went along with Valentine's Day perfectly! I even tried to make a V-day card without using pink =) I am currently in love with the Lost & Found paper collection by My Mind's Eye. I got 4 awesome 6 x 6 paper packs  and that paper is going fast! lol All of the paper used on this card came from the Union Square paper pack. And the best part... you can get the paper 50% off this week at Hobby Lobby! ( that makes the paper pack just $3.00 = )

Thanks so much for looking! I can't wait to see what you create!

So today is my 27th birthday and I was having a little "quarter life crises" when I realized that the cliche is so true... age is just a number and it's all about how you feel on the inside! So today I'm CELEBRATING being another year older and hopefully a little bit wiser than last year =)

Here is a little card I made using an image from Meljen's Designs!

I also wanted to share with you a sneak peak of a new project that I will reveal tomorrow! It's a card I made using a new release image form Whimsie Doodles! I can't wait for you to see what they are releasing this month!

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the full project photo! I'm off now to eat pizza and spend some time with all my best friends =)

Great Catch!

Today I'm bringing you a card I made using a new image from Whimsie Doodles. With Valentine's Day around the corner they have some amazingly cute images to fit the occasion!

 Using: Great Catch

This card was so easy to make and it didn't take me long at all! And the best part was... I used ALL scraps! I was going through my craft cabinet and realized I had sooo many scraps of everything laying around. So... my goal is to use them up whenever possible.

I'm also proud that I managed to make a Valentine's card using only a tid bit of pink! I must say I use pink on just about EVERY card I make so this is an accomplishment for me =) Thanks so much for looking!
