Tiddly Inks.... what's coming this week!

New Release Day at Whimsie Doodles!

It's that time again at Whimsie Doodles! Since joining the Whimsie Doodles team over 3 months ago I find myself getting super excited every time a new set of images come out! I'm planning a short vacation here in the next few weeks and I'm hoping to catch up and make projects with them all! =) And here they finally are:

using: Shy Cupid

I started my coloring this shy cupid with my copic markers. (I'm still in the learning process for sure =) I them paper pieced her dress, cut out some custom clouds and layered my background. I also added a little machine stitching and some pearls.

it's a "Wryn" Wednesday!

So I can't get over how adorable the new Wryn images are over at Tiddly Inks! Cristy has outdone herself again with the most beautiful and delicate images. With 5 new "Wryn" stamps to choose from I'm sure you will find at least one to fall in love with! (If not all 5!!) And guess what.. they are on sale!

Happy Little Whales

So it's my first blog post of the year! I hope 2012 is off to a great start for everyone! I don't know about you but with every new year comes a sense of a fresh start and who couldn't use that!

This week's challenge: use BLUE

My project using: Happy Little Whale

For this card I used my photo editing program (Paint Shop Pro.) I used the original stamp as it was and then I mirrored the image and took it down a few sizes for the smaller whale. It was VERY simple to do and a fun way to use the same image in a different way. I then picked out my paper of choice and printed off my little whales adding a few 3D embellishments.

I've been having fun today playing around with some brand NEW images that are being released from Tiddly Inks tomorrow! I cannot wait to show you my projects and I just know you will fall in love with them too! Here is a sneak peak!!

Christmas is over and I have one day to relax, get my house back in order, and spend time with my kids before work starts back up tomorrow. But there is nothing but smiles today and it makes me so happy to know that all of our needs have been met and we have made it through a difficult year! Sometimes things actually work out and it's a GREAT feeling! =)

So... with much love in my heart I made this card using an absolutely fabulous image from Tiddly Inks! I just love this precious image. Maybe because it reminds me of my own daughter (on a good day when she's behaving of course =) It's a very simple design but the Tiddly image makes the card!

Merry Christmas!

So I finally got a chance to upload and edit a few pictures tonight. Christmas is finally over and it was a fantastic one at that! I feel blessed that in my current situation I was still able to provide a generous Christmas for my 2 little ones. God is good!! Today was a great reminder that family is everything and love encompasses all! Here is one of my last Christmas projects for the year =)


This is a sweet candy/cocoa jar I made this week for a white elephant gift exchange! The image is available for purchase at Whimsie Doodles! (and don't worry.... he made it to a good home =)
